Since 1949, Gatorland has been thrilling visitors before the area became a theme park oasis with live gator feedings, gator wrestling and swamp hikes. Despite its rustic theme the entire park is quite safe and it is more than just a one-tick pony. Yes, the Gator Jumparoo -- where alligators leap out of the water for their supper dangling on a rope -- is the highlight on the boardwalk but there is more to the park than that.

Take a stroll along the cypress in the 2,000 foot wooded boardwalk in the swamp. Cool off at Lilly's Pad water play area. Hop on the miniature railway for a train ride around the park. Watch live gator wrestling three times a day! Feeling brave and hungry? How does gator nuggets or gator ribs sound? No, this isn't your typical Orlando area attraction. In many ways, you will be grateful for that.

Tip: Order your Gatorland tickets online -- at a discount -- and receive free shipping! Limited time offer! You will also find "Buy One, Get One Free" coupons -- good up to two free admissions -- in the latest Orlando Entertainment Book. Order the Entertainment Coupon Books

Directions: Take I-4 to Exit 65 (Central Florida Parkway). Take the Central Florida Parkway to Exit 11 (Orange Blossom Trail) and go south for four miles. The park is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
